The 2024 newly-built Shenfu Campus of Dalian University of Technology Affiliated Tumor Hospital is a large modern specialized tumor hospital, with a core RC structure system that combines the high strength of steel and the stability of concrete, meeting the high safety and large space needs of medical buildings. Covering over 219,500 square meters in the first phase, with a construction area of 233,700 square meters and 1,500 planned beds, the core operating center includes 4 Class 100 and 31 Class 10,000 clean operating rooms, suitable for advanced equipment such as Da Vinci robots. Three intelligent systems were built simultaneously, and the trial operation of core areas was completed in 2024. As a benchmark for the integration of medicine and engineering, it not only expands high-quality medical resources, but also provides a physical platform for interdisciplinary medical-engineering research, enhancing regional tumor prevention and treatment capabilities.
