100 Road Barriers Completed in 22 Days | Steel Fabrication for Germany

This batch of 100 steel road barriers was manufactured for a project in Germany and completed within 22 days.

For batch fabrication, production speed is important, but consistency across every unit is the real manufacturing challenge.

Each barrier is assembled according to the fabrication drawing, with the main body, lower plates, stiffeners, and connection areas positioned to consistent reference points before welding.

The project specifies S235JR steel and 135 MAG welding. During fabrication, welding sequence and heat input are controlled to reduce distortion and maintain stable geometry.

Dimensional and weld inspections are carried out throughout production. Checking during fabrication allows deviations to be identified and corrected before they affect the following operations.

After welding and finishing, the barriers move to surface coating. Particular attention is given to edges, weld transitions, stiffeners, and lower connection areas to achieve continuous and uniform spray coverage.

The final assembly stage includes the installation of rubber pads. Adhesive is applied evenly, and each pad is positioned according to the contact surface and connection layout to maintain correct alignment without interfering with bolt holes.

Once fabrication, coating, and pad installation are complete, each barrier undergoes final inspection before packing.

The finished units are then secured for transportation to protect the coating, connection areas, and finished surfaces during handling.

For this project, completing 100 road barriers in 22 days was not simply a matter of production speed.

It was the result of maintaining a controlled process from fabrication and welding to coating, assembly, inspection, and delivery.
